    The scheduling team designs and delivers a viable seasonal flying schedule for the airlines growing fleet of aircraft, essentially responsible for the detail of where we fly to, at what times, and from which bases.

    The

    Senior Scheduling Analyst

    is responsible for the development, management and publication of Jetstar Airways seasonal schedules and schedule changes.

    Taking as inputs, the key commercial requirements, and the key operational parameters, ensure schedules are developed and maintained for 1 month to 12 months ahead.

    The role requires a highly collaborative approach to manage broad range of stakeholders to balance commercial, operational and cost considerations.

    This role may include domestic and international travel.

    The core responsibilities of this role are:
    Effective communication of key details of the schedule to all areas of the business responsible for delivery.
    Proactively communicate schedule changes and assist with the schedule change review process.
    Schedule lines of flying within bases which deliver to operational parameters and operational guiding principles.
    Manage slot portfolios at key congested airports and ensure slot compliance at fully coordinated airports across Jetstar's network.
    Support operational robustness and customer NPS with thorough trade-off analysis to ensure a stable schedule with minimal post-publication changes.

    Respond to emerging trends to by managing fleet allocation in the short to medium-term.
    Tactically optimize short term schedule variations for ad-hoc events.

    To be considered for this role, you will need:2+ years of airline network planning, operational planning and / or financial/strategic planning experience.

    Stakeholder management capabilities.
    Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    Understanding of airline economics and the drivers of cost.
    Experience managing complex prioritisation and trade-offs.
    Broad knowledge of airline industry and the Asia Pacific market.
    To be highly articulate & accurate.
    Proven ability to consider analytical inputs and diverse qualitative inputs to make top quality decisions.
    Ability to work comfortably in a thriving in a high-pressure environment.
