Affinity Medical Imaging is Wellington's newest Radiology provider bringing high-tech imaging services to several locations around the Capital.


We're looking for a
Team Leader to manage, support and develop an already fantastic team of Patient Care Coordinators as they provide first class customer service and patient care.

While experience in a healthcare setting is important, it will be your proven ability to lead, organise and empower your team that will set you up to flourish in this role.


Based at our premises in Lower Hutt and Johnsonville, this is a
permanent full-time position working
Monday to Friday, with flexible hours, and plenty of opportunity to shine.


Key responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Lead, support and develop a team of Patient Care Coordinators
  • Be involved in recruitment, selection and training of new reception staff
  • Motivate & empower the team through performance appraisal & coaching
  • Manage staff rosters and submit timesheets
  • Oversee invoicing & processing of claims, payments and other administrative duties
  • Proven record of effective team leadership in a customer service environment
  • Previous experience in medical administration including e.g. COMRAD or similar
  • Excellent IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with and between staff, patients & referrers
  • High level of professionalism, personal presentation and accountability
