Partnering with Columbus Coffee, one of New Zealand's most recognised brands, has a unique and successful partnership serving premium cafe food and award-winning coffees within our Mitre 10 MEGA Stores.

Our New Lynn cafe is the perfect meeting spot for our local community to come together.

We are now seeking an experienced Assistant Cafe Manager to join the team.

Reporting direct to our Café Manager you will assist in overseeing the day to day operations of the café, Team Management of up to 20 employees and Instore Training and Team Development.

Ideally you will have prior barista experience and want to be part of leading the team to make this the best cafe in the west.


To be successful you will require to have:

  • At least
  • 3 years hospitality management experience behind you
  • Proven leaderships skill and team management of 15+ staff members
  • Barista Experience
  • Flexible to work across a 7day roster
  • Prior experience in a similar position
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment whilst maintaining high standards
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • Above everything else you need to LOVE hospitality and be absolutely PASSIONATE about the delivery of quality product and service to your customers.
