We are on the lookout for a full-time Kitchen Hand to join the Rongotai Production Kitchen team


The Rongotai Production Kitchen is where some of Wellington's favorite food brands are created, crafted, and packed for distribution to supermarkets, restaurants and retail stores all over Wellington.

We bake, cook, pack and distribute our products from early in the morning to late at night.


This big production kitchen is a healthy and safe environment where the team is valued and rewarded for delivering excellence.

Under new ownership with the Kāpura group, the Rongotai Production Kitchen is looking to expand production into new areas and needs good people like you to help us on our mission

This is a full-time position. The hours are flexible, from 7am-5pm, and there is usually no weekend work required. Talk about the dream hospo gig


As a Kitchen Hand, you are expected to:

  • Maintain a clean kitchen
  • Have excellent hygiene levels
  • Be a quick learner
  • Work well under pressure
  • Have the ability to jump between jobs
  • Be a team player
  • Work evenings and weekends
  • Be the backbone of the kitchen
