Kyle Vasconselos

 I arrived in New Zealand on 28 August 2023 – from Cape Town, South Africa. I have family who have been in New Zealand for almost 5 years’, and I am planning to be in New Zealand long-term and make it home. I currently reside in Torbay, Auckland.

I am a hard-working individual who works well under pressure and in fast-paced environments. As a Site Foreman/Project Manager, with 6.5 years’ experience, I have developed excellent communication and organisational skills, managing various projects simultaneously. I have experience in overseeing multiple subcontractors and ensuring deadlines are met and within budget. I am a sociable individual, and have a proven record in leaving a positive, lasting impression on clients. Throughout my years managing projects, I have developed strong teamwork skills and strive to add to/create synergy within a team, while being confident in my ability in problem-solving and decision-making when need be. 

I hold a NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and have experience in conducting risk assessments, drawing up and implementing safe work procedures and systems, site inspections, holding toolbox talks and general duties to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. I have recently achieved a Health and Safety Representative certificate, and completed a Foundation Phase – Civil Safety course in New Zealand with a valid Site Safety Card. 

In October 2022 I completed my NEBOSH International Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. In November 2023 I completed a Health and Safety Representative Certificate, and a Foundation Passport - Civil Safety course.
