I am Marcos Mella, an Argentine software developer based in Auckland with a passion for technology, sports, and wildlife. I have worked for over 10 years with different technologies like .NET C#, Angular, React, and databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. I have experience in large-scale projects, providing critical customer support both on-site and remotely.  I have been working as a developer in Auckland for over a year. Duties:

I initially started as a .NET Core and Angular developer. Over time, as the team expanded, I was entrusted with the role of Team Lead. 
Design and develop the migration of technologies to a new site with the particularity that it is backward compatible with the old application. We had to migrate the infrastructure to the cloud.
Lead a dynamic team, performing code reviews and pair programming.
Building microservices, micro-frontends and databases. Batch process performance.
Teamwork to achieve sprint goals (Scrum as Agile methodology) 
Upload sprint milestones into production and verifying that everything is working correctly

Key Achievement: Design and develop a system that is backward compatible with the old system, to migrate clients to a new platform. Making them able to use either of them without problems.

Duties:

I was also part of the migration towards new technologies of the official site, participating in the decision making of how to build it. Deployed new features to the production environment.
Javascript Performance and site monetization with third-party tool-teamwork.

Key Achievement: Redesign and development of the digital newspaper, its launch into production in Argentina was a success.

As a developer I did Analysis, design of new system modules and their manual implementation in production. I was responsible for the design and development of the ACES e-commerce website.

Key Achievement: Design and develop the e-commerce site designed for national sales as well as international internal clients.
