I have 12 continuous years working experience in telecommunications, highly skilled at coordination and integration of telecommunications with other facility engineering systems and also in planning, costing and implementing of Optic fibre and Copper projects for network expansion. • Establishing communications systems by installing, operating , and maintaining voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment. • Project implementation of Gpon FTTx, SDH, DWDM and ISAM networks. • Interpreting and implementing project network plans. • Cable hauling, of both copper networks and optic fibre networks. • Live network splicing and maintenance. • Fibre Network Testing and Maintenance using OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) • Copper Jointing and maintenance. • Endpoint customer installations of Gpon Fiber Networks and Copper networks • Planning and developing local area networks, copper networks and optic fiber networks. • Responsible for designing, implementing and amending, optic fiber telecom systems and Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (FTTx Projects.) • Deploying & splicing Fiber Networks in new areas from the initial stage up to completion, implementing GPON Network Projects (FTTx). • Assist in designing telecom systems and developing solutions for complex problems. • Provide technical support to develop and maintain equipment and system. • Installing network hardware components and cables. • Identifying and eliminating bottlenecks to ensure long-term network efficiency • Troubleshooting and resolving issues within the network and ensuring the network operates securely. • Meet vendors for hardware requirements and evaluate quality. • Providing technical support to co-workers and trainees • Resolve, repair and install fiber optics systems and ensure that they work properly • Implementation on network decommissioning and also network upgrades, achieving the lowest possible network downtime during the process. • Documenting network by labelling and routing equipment and cables and recording configuration diagrams and specifications. • Writing reports, tracking inventory, ensuring that all network records are updated and submitted in time to relevant stakeholder

I am a Telecommunications Technician with Telone Pvt Ltd ,Zimbabwe for the past 12 years ,Vast experience in both copper and optic fibre networks .I am a holder of a Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering from Telone Centre Of Lerning   ,Diploma in Applied Information Technology from University Of Zimbabwe ,holder of a clean  Zimbabwean Class 4 driver licence .I have 8 Ordinary level passes under Cambridge School examinations and 3 Advanced level passes
