About nimalka rathnayaka:
I am a community‑focused professional with strong experience in health, wellbeing, and support services, and I am currently completing the NZ Diploma in Workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing (Level 6). My work has always centred on creating safe, supportive, and culturally responsive environments, and I am now building on that foundation to move into the Health & Safety field.
I bring strengths in documentation, incident reporting, risk awareness, relationship building, and calm, practical communication. I enjoy helping people feel safe, informed, and supported, and I’m motivated to contribute to positive safety culture in any organisation.
I am now seeking an entry‑level Health & Safety role—such as H&S Coordinator, H&S Administrator, or Wellbeing & Safety Support—where I can apply my learning, grow my capability, and make a meaningful impact in sectors like aged care, agriculture, community services, or primary industries.
