Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Read and interpret plumbing blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
Fabricate metal components for plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, brackets, and supports
Utilize cutting, bending, and welding techniques to shape and assemble metal parts
Work with various metals, including steel, copper, and brass, to meet project specifications
Collaborate with plumbers and project managers to ensure the accuracy and functionality of fabricated components
Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with plumbing standards and regulations
Troubleshoot issues with fabricated components and make necessary adjustments or repairs
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials
Job Requirement
l Prior three-year work experience or a formal qualification is required
l A "can-do" attitude
l Have an eye on details
