    Jacobs New Zealand Transmission & Distribution (T&D) team is seeking a

    Substation Team Lead


    to play a crucial role in managing a technical team delivering consultancy engineering services in the field of High Voltage T&D.

    This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded Energy & Power team located in Auckland, Christchurch, or Wellington, with flexible work options to suit everyone.

    We are looking for those interested in a diverse role, which has a broad scope across both team leadership and technical delivery in High Voltage T&D design.

    At Jacobs, you'll have the opportunity to work across the following:


    Work collaboratively with the APAC Substation Section Lead and T&D Geographic Manager to oversee and manage the daily responsibilities of the New Zealand Substation team.

    Support the team to instil an inclusive culture that values diversity of thought and lives Jacobs' Culture of Caring.

    Provide High Voltage power transmission consultancy services with a core focus on utilities.
    Manage and deliver the design of Secondary & Protection Systems for a range of clients.
    Effectively manage large scale technical design packages and consultancy services.
    Proactively engage with key clients, including the management of tenders and proposals, and delivering professional reports.
