    Description
    Goldenfir Limited is an Auckland based chinese restaurant, eversince its opening, it has attracted numeroous dinners.
    Due to business needs, they are lookong for 2 chefs and 3 cooks to join their team.
    Chef ($
    Job Responsibilities

    • planning menus, estimating food and labor costs, and ordering food supplies
    • monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
    • discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
    • demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
    • preparing and cooking food
    • explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
    • may select and train staff
    • may freeze and preserve food

    To be successfully, you will need to:

    • Minimum 3 years work experience in Chinese Cuisine
    • Work under pressure
    • A Can-do Attitude
    Cook
    Job Responsibility

    • Preparing foodstuffs including raw ingredients
    • Ordering food supplies, organizing deliveries and restocking shelves
    • Preparing and cooking food
    • Seasoning food during cooking
    • Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
    • Storing food in temperature controlled facilities
    • Giving instructions and demonstrating cooking methods to others
    • Planning menus and creating new recipes
    • May train other kitchen staff and apprentices
    To be successfully, you will need to

    • Minimum 3 years work experience in Chinese Cuisine
    • Work under pressure
    • A Can-do Attitude
    • Mandarin speaking is preferred
