    Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    Proficient in operating company vehicles, as frequent travel to various locations is required for work assignments.
    A reliable team member capable of primarily driving the company van and providing essential assistance as needed.
    Plan and execute daily delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of plumbing supplies.
    Safely operate company vans and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
    Communicate effectively with supervisor and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
    Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure they are in proper working condition.
    Load and unload plumbing materials and equipment, ensuring proper placement and securing to prevent damage during transit.
    Verify accuracy of delivery documents and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
    Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vans to present a professional image.
    Monitor inventory levels of supplies in the van and report shortages or discrepancies to supervisors.
    Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.
    Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
    Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption and delivery activities.
    Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation and safety protocols.
    Actively participate in ongoing training sessions to gain knowledge and skills in plumbing techniques, equipment operation and safety protocols.


    Requirements:
    Valid New Zealand full driving license is mandatory.
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial vehicle driving.
    Basic proficiency in English language is required.
    Ideally possesses a tertiary qualification, but not mandatory.

    Passionate and dedicated individual with a strong affinity for driving, as the primary responsibility involves supporting teams by driving to various locations for assigned tasks.

    Exhibits physical fitness and resilience to handle demanding tasks in diverse weather conditions.
    Eager to learn with a commitment to following instructions diligently.
    Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail.
    Excellent team player with effective communication skills.
    No prior plumbing experience necessary; on-the-job training will be provided as per business requirements.
