    Job summary

    Te Oranganui is an iwi governed organisation that aims to improve access and service delivery of health services to Māori in the Whanganui Region.

    They are currently putting in place a new executive leadership team to drive change and achieve improved outcomes for whānau.


    Job seniority:
    mid-to-senior level

    Responsibilities


    • Offer a critical contribution to the Executive Leadership Team and lead the Senior Management Team
    • Identify new innovations and knowledge for Kaupapa Māori service delivery
    • Establish integrated care pathways and implement best practices for individuals
    • Manage stakeholder engagement and partnerships
    • Lead and develop relevant community-wide Communities of Practice
    Requirements


    • Significant experience in a strategic leadership role, ideally in the health industry
    • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic plans
    • Experience in leading large multi-disciplinary teams
    • Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships and partnerships
    • Experience in programme development and managing projects
    • Insight into complex health needs and social issues facing Māori
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
